THIS IS A PREODER. This means that your piece will ship in about 14 weeks because they are made to order. Please do not ask before this deadline on when the mug will be done unless absolutely necessary. If I get them done before the 14 weeks I will ship them earlier. I am giving myself plenty of time and grace because this knitted design is by far the most time consuming and draining of all of my designs. It will very likely not take this long but life can get pretty bumpy sometimes and clay can be temperamental .
Shape of mug will vary.
Capacity of mug will be roughly 16oz (give or take 1-2oz).
Glaze choice (the glossy coating on the handle and interior of mug) will be up to me based on the color palette for knitted design.
This is a semi-custom preorder and here’s how this will work:
You get to choose ONE color that you would like to see in your knitted design. This color will be the primary color and I will choose complimentary and tastefully contrasting colors.
You also get to choose ONE color that you really don’t want to see in your design. I can take so many directions with color palettes and this gives me a sliver of an idea on what colors you may not jive with.
*Purple is not offered because my purple colorants can turn a bit brown. If you really want to gamble with purple let me know.
I like to do preorders this way because it really lets me explore new designs, color combinations. It add let’s me still continue to create without feel constricted while still tailoring the piece to you.
These are example pieces of my knitted work. All of these are in their forever homes and will not exactly be what you get.
